Obama Justice Dept. Wants to Prosecute Climate Skeptics

The Obama Administration's Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, admitted recently to asking the FBI to investigate the possibility of prosecuting scientists and others skeptical of anthropogenic (human-caused) climate catastrophe. This is a blatant misuse of power to limit the right to free speech of many American citizens.

Meanwhile, the Evangelical Environmental Network continues its assault on the pro-life movement with its most recent Clean Energy Campaign. This campaign promises to organize half a million pro-life Christians to curb CO2 emissions or what they refer to as "pollution." In their misguided attempt to limit a colorless, odorless gas that is not harmful to the environment, they are damaging the pro-life movement, by using the term to refer to things other than abortion, and taking the focus off the intentional killing of babies.

To learn more about both of these topics, the actions of the Attorney General, and the EEN, and how to probably educate others on these topics, listen to Dr. Cal Beisner on Real Talk Radio with Audrey Russo here.

Receive Book Fossil Fuels: The Moral Case Free for the Month of March!

How can we stand up for our neighbors, as Christians are called to do, if we are not educated on the issues? Kathleen Hartnett-White’s Fossil Fuels: The Moral Case, will equip you to give others truly moral reasons to favor the use of fossil fuels—without which no society can rise and stay out of poverty.
Energy policy sits at a crossroads. Will living generations eschew high energy use made possible by fossil fuels to lower a risk of theoretically predicted global warming? Would voters choose an energy regression to less productive, efficient, comfortable, and healthy living standards? Multiple polls say no way! For the wealthy elites who make policy decisions—“the ruling class,” it appears to be another story.

The vast human improvements flowing from the Industrial Revolution are still occurring in market driven economies under limited governments which uphold property rights and contractual obligation. Why would societies suppress fossil fuels—a necessary condition of the increasing efficiency inherent in productive economies and continually improved living standards? As Thomas Macaulay commented in the early days of Industrial Revolution, “On what principle is it that, when we see nothing but improvement behind us, we are to expect nothing but deterioration before us.”
